Safe Environment

The Cathedral of the Immaculate
Conception is committed to providing a
safe environment for all persons involved
in any ministry, especially children.  All adults participating in the Cathedral’s
Music Program are required to complete Virtus Safe Environment training, offered through the Diocese of Albany.  For more information, visit:

Instrumental  Instruction (Piano, Organ, Violin, Viola)

The cathedral is pleased to host private instruction to choristers and parishioners of all ages. Studio size may be limited, and preference will be given to choir school families.

Cantoral Ministry

Cathedral cantors serve as the psalmist and assist as song leaders for the congregation during Sunday and holy day liturgies, weddings, and funerals.  Cantors are trained singers and must be able to read music.  F please contact Dr. Timothy Reno, Director of Music.
